Man who shared Kate Middleton farm shop video reveals why he stopped filming royal couple

The recent public sighting of the Prince and Princess of Wales at a local Windsor farm shop has garnered attention, particularly due to the customer who filmed them. According to the onlooker, he promptly stopped recording after capturing the royal couple on camera. This incident marks the first time Kate and William have been spotted together since the princess underwent abdominal surgery two months ago at a private London hospital.

The footage depicts the couple appearing “happy and relaxed” as they engaged in a casual outing near their Windsor residence. This sighting provides insight into the royals’ everyday lives and their recovery process following Kate’s medical procedure.

Engineer Nelson Silva, aged 40, has confirmed that the video in question does indeed feature Kate Middleton, putting an end to the unfounded speculation and conspiracy theories circulating online regarding her whereabouts. Silva, who captured the footage, dismissed the “ridiculous” claims that it was not actually Kate in the clip. He further stated that the staff present were “excited” to see the royal couple.

Silva, a father who was out shopping for steak when he encountered Kate and William, initially recorded the video to share with his family. However, his family alerted him to the rumors suggesting Kate had been missing in recent weeks. In an interview with The Sun, which published the video, Silva explained, “I started to record as they (Kate and William) walked towards the car park. They just looked very happy and relaxed together.”

Regarding the instance when he opted to cease recording with his camera, Nelson remarked: “William was evidently acting in a protective manner towards Kate, and I promptly halted the recording process as I did not wish to cause them any discomfort.” He proceeded to state: “Kate’s sole intention was to engage in a leisurely stroll with her spouse. Her appearance seemed healthy. I would advise, ‘Let us now consider this matter resolved’.”

Nelson expressed his perplexity concerning the rumors surrounding a body double, which rapidly gained traction on social media platforms, with allegations that a lookalike had been portraying Kate’s role.

Furthermore, he affirmed witnessing their interactions with staff members and the exchange of jovial remarks, describing the overall ambiance as “pleasant.”
