Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were anticipated to grace the prestigious Met Gala, an annual high-profile fashion event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. However, their absence at the star-studded affair left royal enthusiasts perplexed. Interestingly, there were reports of Prince Harry being “spotted” at this year’s Met Gala, despite their non-attendance, adding an element of intrigue to the situation.

The Met Gala is an annual high-profile fashion event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It showcases the finest in couture designs and attracts a star-studded guest list featuring prominent figures from various industries. This year’s event, which took place on Monday night, was attended by notable celebrities such as Anna Wintour, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Sydney Sweeney, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Barry Keoghan. Despite intense speculation surrounding the potential attendance of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan were not present at the prestigious Met Gala.

However, royal fans were convinced they spotted Prince Harry on the red carpet, as he was spotted several times by the cameras focused on celebrities arriving and posing for waiting photographers. But sadly, they soon realised that ‘Prince Harry’ was in fact just a striking lookalike of the former senior royal.

The fashion extravaganza, themed “The Garden of Time,” was a grand affair that coincided with the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibition at the museum. A notable presence at the event was a ginger-haired individual who bore a striking resemblance to Harry, spotted diligently adjusting the dresses of various celebrities as they graced the red carpet. Dressed impeccably in a black tuxedo, this doppelganger was seen meticulously attending to the famous faces, ensuring their outfits were in pristine condition before they entered the star-studded bash. In one video circulating on X/Twitter, he can be observed carefully adjusting the train of Queen Latifah’s stunning black and white gown. His services were later enlisted to assist singer Tyla, who wore a delicate dress made from sand by the fashion house Balmain. Due to the fragile nature of her ensemble, he aided in carefully carrying her up the steps, ensuring her entrance was as graceful as her attire.
