A royal expert has provided insights into the strained relationship between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. According to the expert, the Princess of Wales is unlikely to appreciate any advice from Meghan Markle, as she considers her unqualified to offer such guidance. This perspective stems from the ongoing tensions within the royal family.

Recently, Kate Middleton’s health has been the subject of online speculation after she took a break from royal duties following a planned abdominal surgery in January. This week, her decision to upload a Photoshopped image of herself and her children for Mother’s Day further fueled scrutiny.

The expert’s comments highlight the complexity of the royal rift and suggest that mending the relationship between the two duchesses may not be an immediate priority for Kate Middleton at this time.

The ongoing tensions within the British royal family have garnered significant attention, particularly regarding the strained relationship between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. According to reports, the 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex, who has personal experience with online bullying, has made multiple attempts to reconcile with her sister-in-law. However, an expert has suggested that Kate is unlikely to be receptive to any advice or support from Meghan.

In an interview with OK! magazine, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond expressed her opinion that Kate would not consider Meghan, who spent a relatively short time as a member of the royal family, as a qualified or appropriate person to provide guidance or support. Bond stated, “I don’t think Kate would ever consider Meghan – who spent such a very short time in the royal fold – as an appropriate or qualified person to give her advice or support.”

Furthermore, Bond believes that the current period, during which Kate is recovering from a recent operation, is not an opportune time to address the family rift. The royal author remarked, “This is a time for Kate to concentrate on regaining her strength, physically and mentally, and I don’t imagine she would welcome tackling the family rift right now.”

These insights shed light on the complexities surrounding the royal family dynamics and the potential challenges in mending relationships, particularly when considering factors such as perceived qualifications and personal circumstances.

The dynamic between Meghan and Kate has been marked by considerable strain since the Sussexes’ departure from the Royal Family. In 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan engaged in a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they leveled criticisms against the institution, further exacerbating tensions. Subsequently, Harry provided insights into the discord between his sister-in-law and wife, intensifying the rift. The publication of Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame” in the previous year, which made assertions about alleged “royal racism,” deepened the divide between the Firm and the Sussexes.

According to Bond’s assessment, mending the relationship between Meghan and Kate would require more substantial efforts than mere gestures of goodwill, such as the exchange of gifts or tokens of appreciation. Bond remarked, “If Meghan were to extend a gesture of kindness, such as a hamper of pampering items or floral arrangements, with the intent of lifting Kate’s spirits, it is expected that the gesture would be graciously accepted. However, I do not foresee this latest episode bringing the two women any closer together.”
