Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children must follow very unusual food rule

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—are being raised with a blend of royal tradition and modern parenting. This approach aims to give them as normal a childhood as possible while preparing them for future royal duties.

The Wales children attend Lambrook School, where they are known simply as George Wales, Charlotte Wales, and Louis Wales, following their parents’ titles as the Prince and Princess of Wales. This tradition mirrors that of Prince William and Prince Harry, who also used the surname Wales during their schooling. The children’s presence at Lambrook is characterized by a conscious effort to downplay their royal status, providing them with a more typical school experience, albeit one that still acknowledges their unique positions.

Despite their young ages, the children are gradually being introduced to royal duties. They made notable public appearances during King Charles’ coronation and other significant events, such as the Trooping the Colour parade and the Royal International Air Tattoo. These appearances are part of a broader effort to familiarize them with public life and the responsibilities that come with their status. During the coronation, Prince George served as a Page of Honour, while all three children participated in the procession, underscoring their roles in the royal family’s public engagements.

Kate and William’s parenting approach includes instilling a sense of normalcy while maintaining discipline and respect for their royal heritage. The children are involved in activities typical for kids their age, such as school projects and family outings, alongside their participation in royal traditions. For instance, they recently enjoyed a family day out at the Royal International Air Tattoo, engaging with the public and experiencing the RAF’s heritage, reflecting their parents’ interest in fostering a sense of service and duty.

Overall, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are being raised to balance the demands of their future roles with as ordinary a childhood as possible. This approach, championed by Kate and William, aims to prepare them for the future while allowing them to enjoy their youth.
